After a billboard or wildposting campaign is done, there’s nothing left but the memories is there? But memories live on when fans snap pics or take videos, post them to social media and share them with friends. Outdoor advertising agencies are in a unique position to participate in creating those memories by documenting the installation of outdoor ad campaigns and making that documentation available to fans.

Media buying agency Dash Two has been doing that for quite a while. For example, we document billboard installations with time-lapse video as shown in the captivating videos below.

Kendrick Lamar Damn Billboard

Kendrick Lamar debuted the music from his latest album, Damn, at Coachella 2017. Fans on their way to Coachella got a big roadside reminder.

Lady Gaga Coachella 2017 Billboard

Wind conditions near Coachella can be quite hazardous. In the video above billboard installation pros are careful not to lose pieces of vinyl in the wind that could easily smash a windshield or two. It can be a nerve-racking process though they make it look easy.

Lana Del Rey Lust for Life Billboard

The album artwork for Lana Del Rey’s Lust for Life album was first teased in the above billboard that, like Lady Gaga’s Coachella billboard, was installed under highly windy conditions.

Lady Gaga 2017 World Tour Billboard

Lady Gaga’s World Tour billboard had a special touch. The outdoor advertising agency included a build-out with real life LED glasses added. You can see the actual glasses on Dash Two’s Instagram.

Interscope Records Billboard

Fans returning home from Coachella got a tongue-in-cheek mileage billboard alerting them to just how far they’d have to drive to reach the offices of Interscope Records.

Bonus Footage:

The Beatles Sgt. Pepper Day

For a bit of extra fun, here’s a video from the 50th Anniversary celebration of the release of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The video stars Sgt. Pepper himself hoisting a flag at the top of the old Capitol Records building in Los Angeles.
